This book is inspired by an old Somali Folktales. It is also an adaptation of the Boy Who Cried Wolf by Aesop. The tale concerns a goat herd boy who repeatedly fools villagers into thinking a hyena is attacking his herd. When an actual hyena appears and the boy calls for help, the villagers believe that it is another false alarm, and the goats are eaten by the hyena.
